The Student Ministry of First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho is for students in 6th - 12th grade. First Student Ministry (FSM) exists to:

KNOW God,
LOVE God,
Make God KNOWN.

Here at FBC we realize that the teenage years are crucial for young men and women if they are going to choose to follow Jesus Christ. We want to come alongside teenagers in their journey and help them to become self sufficient in God's Word who will stand firm in their faith throughout the rest of their lives.

Here are some ways we seek to
accomplish these things:

  Wednesday Night 6pm - PowerHouse
  Amplify is like church designed just for junior high and high school students! 
  We'll have a live worship band, videos, and a relevant and challenging message
  from God's Word.

Sunday Morning Bible Study 8:30am - PowerHouse
We kick things off by introducing the weekly lesson and then students break into table groups for discussion and application. This is a great time to connect!

Sunday Night Recreation & Discipleship 4pm - PowerHouse
We spend the first hour playing games (dodgeball, football, kickball, ultimate Frisbee, etc), and then dive into God's Word for the second hour.

Other Opportunities:
Disciple Now, Student Life Camp, Mission Trips, Rocktober, Spring into Summer, Lives Ablaze, and other events throughout the year.
